Onora’s History

Onora, which means “honor” in Irish is Top Priority Trakehners’ second foal. She is out of Ogellee and by the German stallion, Summertime.

Onora has very nice bloodlines and conformation. She is the 1/2 sister to Songline who was the champion stallion at the Trakehner Neumünster inspection in 2006, he was the highest sold Stallion to date at 320,000 Euros.

Onora is proving to be another talented dressage horse for us with her lovely floating trot and brave personality. As a filly she had a temperment unlike any foal I have seen. At the age of 6 months, she brought herself up to alpha mare among the two-year-olds and wouldn’t spook at anything, including flying tarps, bags, kites etc.

In 2010 she was entered in her first breed show with the following scores:

Spokane Sport Horse Breeders Classic
Trakehner Class – 71.00% 2nd (Placed 2nd to her sister Ossette)
Produce of Dam Class – 71.100% 2nd

For 2011 we are very excited to introduce her to the dressage ring and possibly find her a horse husband.
